- What time are worship services?
Currently our main worship experience on Sunday is at 10:00 a.m. Sunday school classes meet at 8:45 a.m. You will find a listing of our Sunday School Classes on this web site. Feel free to attend any of them.
- How do I have to dress?
Feel free to dress as you wish. Some of our people dress up while others are a bit more casual. Nevertheless, we would rather focus on you having an awesome experience by God’s transforming power.
- Is the church child friendly?
Absolutely! Currently, we have a “cry room” just outside of the sanctuary for parents who need to take their children there to regroup. We also have baby changers in the bathrooms throughout the church. We are used to hearing babies cry, laugh, and make noise while in church. Don’t feel embarrassed or upset if your child or children are “animated.” We also feel the same way about special needs children. Our home is your home.
- Is there parking?
Yes. The church has an ample parking lot with handicap parking spaces next to the building. Our parking attendants will help you with any concerns you may have.
- What type of worship service do you have?
We are blessed to experience worship centered on praise through song, the reading of the Holy Scriptures, and engagement in the preached Word. We come to the worship experience expecting God to do an awesome thing among us in our midst. While we plan worship with care, we know that God can move within and beyond our plans. Feel free to come to Queen’s Chapel several Sundays to get a full feel of our worship experiences. You won’t want to miss them.
- Do I have to march down the aisle if I want to join the church?
No. We would love for you to come down the aisle when the invitation is given. However, if you wish to become a member you may also fill out the membership card in the church bulletin and give it to an usher or the pastor. Or, you may attend an information session/orientation every third Saturday of the month from 10 – 2 in the “Soul Echoes” Café. You may register for this class by submitting the form online. Registration is strong encouraged. At the orientation session you will have an opportunity to join as well. Following the orientation class, if you choose to continue in the journey we invite you to sign up for the follow up discipleship opportunities to learn about living life as a Disciple of Jesus Christ.
- Can I be a member of more than one church?
Generally, yes. However, we strongly urge you to choose a church to be grounded and centered in so that you can get the full benefit of that congregation and they can get the full benefit of your witness. Feel free to have a conversation with the pastor about this matter.
- I am shy and nervous about attending a new church? Will I stick out?
There are usually new people to our church every Sunday. We try very hard to make the experience as comfortable as possible for persons visiting for the very first time. We don’t want you to feel spotlighted in an embarrassing way. Just know we are super excited about your presence with us!
